The Kingdom Hearts series has actually always been a Nintendo series as well, since many spin-offs were originally released exclusively for Nintendo's handheld consoles.

Square Enix has released the second trailer for Kingdom Hearts IV which will be released for Nintendo Switch 2. The trailer showed the world of Quadratum, where Sora was transported after the end of the previous installment.
This world strongly resembles the Japan of our world, but Heartless also appear in Quadratum, which Sora has to fight.
In addition to familiar faces like Sora, Donald, Goofy, and Strelitzia, there are also some new characters, and, of course, the black robes make an appearance. The trailer is rounded off by combat sequences promising an action spectacle.
When Kingdom Hearts VI will be released remains a secret. However, it is said to launch simultaneously for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC.
