Zum Jahresende hin, werden auch interne Firmenstrukturen verändert. Dies ist nun der Fall bei Capcom Europe, dessen Ex-CEO Kunio Neo heute Platz machte für seinen Kollegen Hiroshi Tobisawa.
Er ist bei Capcom auch kein unbeschriebenes Blatt. Tobisawa fungierte schon als Präsident und Managing Corporate Officer bei Capcom USA, Director für Business-Strategien und zuletzt als Director von Capcom Asia. Zu dem Wechsel sagte Kunio Neo, dass er natürlich unter Trauer seine Position bei Capcom Europe verlassen muss, jedoch sei sein Nachfolger schon lange bei Capcom und er sei gespannt darauf, was Tobisawa in seiner Position erreichen werde. Doch auch Tobisawa sagte zu seinem Wechsel, dass er sich zunächst bei Kunio Neo für seine Arbeit bedankt und hoffe mit den verschiedenen Teams in Europa zusammen auch weiterhin erfolgreich zu sein.
Kunio Neo: It is with great sadness that I announce today that I am to leave Capcom. I am incredibly proud to have had the chance to work with the team at Capcom Europe over the last two years. My successor, Hiroshi Tobisawa, has a long and distinguished record working at Capcom and I look forward to seeing what the company goes on to achieve under his management.
