Heute hat das japanische Marktanalyseunternehmen Media Create erneut die Japan-Videospielcharts veröffentlicht, die sich nun auf die Woche vom 20. bis zum 26. Januar 2014 beziehen. In den Top 20 finden sich einige Neuveröffentlichungen – leider nicht für Nintendo-Systeme. Erst auf Platz 2 folgt mit Kirby Triple Deluxe ein Nintendo-Titel. Insgesamt neun 3DS- und ein Wii U-Spiel haben es in die Top 20 geschafft. Überraschung: Sogar ein Xbox 360-Spiel hat sich eingeschlichen!

Die Hardwareverkäufe sind im Vergleich zur Vorwoche noch weiter zurückgegangen, worunter erneut besonders Nintendos Konsolen zu leiden haben. Der 3DS führt mit fast 40.000 Wochenverkäufen noch die Hardwarecharts an – jedoch wird der Abstand zur PlayStation Vita immer geringer. Die viertplatzierte Wii U stürzte weiter ab auf 8.500 Verkäufe.
