Neben dem Update für die Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1, das Konami heute veröffentlichte, kündigte man ebenfalls die Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2 unter anderem für Nintendo Switch und Nintendo Switch 2 an.
Die Collection erscheint demnach am 27. August 2026. Enthalten sind die Spiele Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker (HD Collection) und Metal Gear: Ghost Babel.
