Mit dem Bild des Tages hat Masahiro Sakurai nun einen weiteren Herausforderer für Super Smash Bros. für Wii U und 3DS bestätigt. Bei dem Charakter handelt es sich um Ike aus der Fire Emblem-Serie. Optisch habe sich das Entwicklerteam an seinem Design aus dem Wii-Titel Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn orientiert. Gleichzeitig hat Sakurai angekündigt, dass sowohl seine Schwerthiebe als auch seine Smash-Attacke sehr mächtig sein werden.

For this game, Ike's design is based on the hero that appears in Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn. His sword deals heavy damage in Smash Bros., so this design suits him very well! Rest assured, he can use Aether as well.
