Nintendo lizenziert MULTI-Entwicklungsumgebung für Wii U

Nintendo scheint sich nach dem zuletzt von vielen Fehlern geplagten Start des 3DS und der verpönten Wii mit der Wii U allerhand Mühe zu geben. Wie durch eine Pressemitteilung des Unternehmens Green Hills Software nun bekannt wurde, hat sich Nintendo kürzlich die Entwicklungsumgebung MULTI für die Wii U lizenzieren lassen.

Laut den Entwicklern von Green Hills ist MULTI eines der führenden Programme auf dem Markt, wenn es um maximale Leistung bei niedriger Kostenhaltung geht. Der General Manager Tim Reed von Green Hills Software beschrieb es mit Stolz die Möglichkeit zu erhalten, mit Nintendo zusammenzuarbeiten.

Global Agreement Will Yield Richer Games, with Faster Time-to-Market

SAN JOSE, CA — March 27, 2012 — DESIGN West/ESC 2012, Booth #1227

will enable Nintendo Co., Ltd. to provide Green Hills Software’s MULTI®
integrated development environment (IDE) to developers that are creating
video game software for the upcoming Wii U platform, which is scheduled
to be launched later this year.
