Der vierte Teil der Reihe erscheint wie bekannt im Oktober diesen Jahres – und danach? Der Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot bestätigte, dass sich zur Zeit drei Assassin’s Creed-Spiele in Entwicklung befinden.
Zwar ist es riskant, jedes Jahr einen neuen Titel zu veröffentlichen, aber Guillemot glaubt, dass das Franchise nicht so schnell schlapp machen wird.

Natürlich ist nicht genau bekannt, an welchen Ablegern Ubisoft arbeitet. Allerdings könnte man Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag bereits dazu zählen. Somit bleiben zwei weitere übrig. Handelt es sich schon um den fünften Haupt-Ableger oder um ein Spin-Off? Vielleicht können wir ja auch ein Handyspiel erwarten?
