Unity-Unterstützung für New Nintendo 3DS angekündigt

Nachdem aus dem Unite 2015 Tokyo-Event erste Bestätigungen für die Unity-Unterstützung der neuen Nintendo 3DS-Modelle im Internet aufgetaucht sind, ist nun auch eine offizielle Pressemitteilung verfügbar. Demnach werden die New Nintendo 3DS- und New Nintendo 3DS XL-Geräte zukünftig durch die Unity-Plattform unterstützt, die bereits über vier Millionen Entwickler zählt.

Die Entwicklungsumgebung steht von nun an auch Nintendos eigenen Entwicklern und den Drittherstellern zur Verfügung. Außerdem ermöglicht die Plattform die Veröffentlichung von zahlreichen mobilen und Social Network Spielen auf den neuen Handheld-Versionen.

Unity Technologies announced plans for Unity to support the New Nintendo 3DS and New Nintendo 3DS XL, new portable game systems from Nintendo, during the keynote speech at Unite 2015 Tokyo. The new Unity platform support will be available to Nintendo, Nintendo’s 3rd party developers and over 4 million registered Unity developers.
