Ubisoft has announced the final content update for Assassin's Creed Shadows The version 1.1.11 is set to release on June 16 and is described by Ubisoft as the “last update.”
This comes as a surprise to fans of the open-world adventure, as the predecessor Assassin's Creed Valhalla received new content over several years. Support for Assassin's Creed Shadows ends just 15 months after its initial release.
Why Ubisoft is stopping the development of content for Assassin's Creed Shadowsis unclear. Fans suspect low sales might be a reason for the decision. It has long been rumored that Assassin's Creed Shadows has not sold satisfactorily for Ubisoft, as the publisher has not released current sales figures for the game.
