You embarked on a quest to destroy the Soul Edge to repent for the horrible slaughter of that day. You believed you had succeeded, but you learned later that the shattering of the blade had only weakened the blade, and its evil still existed. Taking up your rod and the magical sash bestowed upon you by your greatest childhood friend, Xianliang, who had remained unaffected by the Evil Seed, but died at your hands, you set out to quell the evil plague once and for all.
