01.04.08 - Die Xbox 360 ist fast 2 Mio. Mal in Großbritannien verkauft worden. Das meldet Chart-Track laut GamesIndustry.

Die 2 Millionen-Marke soll in der nächsten Woche durchbrochen werden. Die Xbox 360 kam im Dezember 2005 in UK in den Handel und wurde in den ersten 60 Wochen 1 Mio. Mal verkauft. Die PS3 - kam im März 2007 auf den Markt - wurde bis Februar 2007 1 Mio. Mal durchverkauft.

Hmm, ich habe mit meinem Bruder eine Wette abgeschlossen das die PS3 bis in einem Jahr ( also 1. April 09 ) den Wii, in sachen instalierte Hardware Basis Weltweit, nicht überholt hat. Ganz sicher bin ich mir jedoch nicht, immerhin wird die PS3 dank der Martführung von Blu-ray im HD Bereich und der ersten richtig guten exklusiv Spiele, wohl schon viel Rückenwind haben. Aber irgendwie habich nicht das Gefühl das die breite Masse das neue Format bereits für nötig empfindet, im nächsten Jahr und das Wii wohl einen zu grossen Vorsprung hat.
