The House of the Dead: Overkill“ ist ein typisches On-Rail-Vergnügen. Actionlastig, kurzweilig und spaßig zugleich. Einfach ein Rundum-Paket für alle Freunde der schnellen Unterhaltung und des trockenen Humors. Immer wieder sorgt der Titel für Lacher und überzeugt einfach mit seiner durchdachten Gesamtheit. Individualisten und Spieler, die ihre gewisse Bewegungsfreiheit in einem Spiel brauchen, fahren mit diesem Genre allerdings eher schlecht als recht. Aber das liegt ganz einfach nicht am Spiel, sondern lediglich in der Natur der Sache.
